Formerly Enviro-Tech, the pest control company had a tough challenge building name recognition. They also faced a daunting legal battle to go after companies that infringed on the Enviro-Tech name.
Enviro-Tech’s previous website was full of broken links, messaging that did not connect with their customers, and lacked in design sophistication, which made it difficult to compete in the pest control market.
Snowball collaborated with Enviro-Tech and recommended they change their name rather than spend legal fees to protect a name that doesn’t relate to pest control services. The client chose Marigold Pest Services as the new name and Snowball was given the assignment to re-brand the company.
First, a logo and guidelines were designed to help the company maintain continuity with proper usage of the brand elements. Then Snowball began work on the corporate website, the franchise opportunity website, and a site template to be used for new franchisees. Snowball shot photography for the websites and for social media. Each of the three websites were carefully researched for keywords to maximize their SEO. Next, Snowball built the Google+ page design and designed a school fundraising campaign promotion package.
Finally, we provided a search engine marketing plan for ongoing optimization and pay-per-click advertising campaign based on the client’s budget.
Marigold successfully re-branded the company and launched the Atlanta franchise using the new marketing materials and websites for a fraction of the cost and time that Snowball’s competition were able to provide. The new design and clear messaging has been more successful at making a connection with consumers, which has shortened the sales cycle. Within two months, Marigold sold their first new franchise opportunity in Nashville. Snowball had the Nashville franchise’s website, and social media pages up and running quickly, thanks to the new branding guidelines by maintaining continuity of the branding strategy.
